Ulmo
is the God of the Waters. He dwells alone in the deeps of the Sea, which
is beautiful to him. Moreover he does
not like to walk upon land, and will seldom clothe himself in a body after
the manner of his peers. He commands all the waters and that which lives
within. The arising of the God of the Seas is like a mounting wave
that strides to the
land,
with
dark
helm
foam-crested
and raiment of mail shimmering from silver down into shadows of green. Ulmo's
voice is deep as the deeps of the ocean which he only has seen.
